How to get there via the airport

Bus

The Rede Expressos service runs between Lisbon and Leiria. This service departs from Sete Rios and Gare do Oriente stations.

Rent-a-Car

You can hire a car at the arrivals area of the airport through car hire companies. It is advisable to book in advance.

Taxi

The average taxi fare from the airport is around 137.00€. The amount charged for the journey is the same and does not depend on the number of passengers in the vehicle. If the luggage exceeds 55x35x20cm, it must be transported in the boot or on the roof. In this case, an extra charge may apply. Wheelchairs, cots and pushchairs can be transported free of charge. No gratuity is required.

Bus

Road transport companies such as Rede Nacional de Expressos and InterNorte connect Porto to various places in Europe. InterNorte makes journeys to almost all the main European cities. Other bus companies cover the entire country, from north to south.

Train

Lisbon has several main stations with national connections to the city of Leiria: Santa Apolónia; Oriente; Sete Rios, Entrecampos. Reservations can be made through the CP call centre: Comboios de Portugal (808 208 208)
